Looking for meditation on the Oregon Coast?

We offer meditation practice, silent retreats, inquiry, and community for both local residents and visitors to the Oregon Coast, led by Charlotte Jigen Juul, Zen teacher.

 

Join us for a half-day meditation retreat of silence, practice, and inquiry.

The morning includes:

Guided meditation, Silent sitting, Walking meditation, Gentle inquiry and reflection

Depending on the group, the morning may also include elements of the Big Mind & Big Heart Process.

 

No previous meditation experience is necessary.

What to Expect

Morning Schedule

  • 8:00 AM — Welcome and orientation
  • 8:15 AM — First block of sitting, with walking meditation between periods
  • 9:50 AM — Break
  • 10:20 AM — Second block of sitting, with walking meditation between periods
  • 11:55 AM — Sharing and closing
  • 12:30 PM — End

We will begin with a brief welcome and meditation instruction before entering silence together. The rest of the morning, including the sitting periods, walking meditation, and break, will unfold in silence, allowing time to settle, listen inwardly, and simply be. At the end, we will come together again for sharing and reflection.
