Meditation PRACTICE

Are you new to meditation – or feeling stuck in your practice?

Zen meditation on the Oregon Coast is offered through weekly zazen in Waldport and online

You are welcome here, whether you are new to meditation or have been practicing for years.

If you are new to meditation, you may be looking for a way to meet your experience more directly. This is a place to begin.

If you have practiced for years and feel frustrated or stuck, this is a place to deepen and clarify your practice in a grounded and direct way.
Meditation is not about becoming someone else.
It is about learning to be with what is, to see clearly, and to live from that clarity.

I am a Zen teacher with more than 30 years of meditation and 20 years of teaching experience. I sit every day and I can’t imagine a life without it. It is a big joy and honor to teach others how to sit quietly with your own mind. The strength and openness that comes from that – is the greatest gift there is in life.

Ways to Practice:

Zazen (Meditation)

Weekly Sunday sitting and ongoing practice.

Learning to be with breath, body, and experience, just as it is.
Over time, practice becomes less about effort and more about allowing—
a quiet returning to what is already here.
